I am always on the lookout for products that are good for both my family and the environment. When I came across Shaklee, a company that has been providing the finest, natural, and eco-friendly products since 1956, I was excited to take a look at all the different products they had to offer. Liz Amason, an Independent Distributor of Shaklee Products, offered to send me an package of Enfuselle® Moisturizing Shower Gel to review. When I found out that this was the product I would be reviewing, the first thing I did was went and read the description. I was shocked to find out that this shower gel is made from corn and coconut products! I had never heard of bath products being made primarily from these products.

This shower gel is meant to moisturize, cleanses, sooth and invigorate your skin. Essential sea minerals help to rejuvenate your skin while sea-botanical extracts work to hydrate it. This shower gel is made with gentle products which makes it a perfect choice for people who have sensitive skin.

When I received the Enfuselle® Moisturizing Shower Gel, the first thing I did was smell it. I do this with all my personal care and beauty products because scent is a big determining factor to whether I will like a product or not. When I smelled it, I was a bit surprised because of it’s mild calming scent. It really didn’t smell much like anything. This made me think that this would be the perfect shower gel for people who are sensitive to scents or for those who have allergies. When I tried this shower gel for the first time, I was very impressed. The shower gel did a really good job of creating a thick lather with only a small amount of product. This was my favorite aspect of the shower gel. Too often, I buy shower gel and end up I needing to use a lot of it to get a good lather. I can tell that with this shower gel that a little goes a long way. This is great because it means that it will likely last a long time.

Another aspect I noticed about this shower gel was how my legs felt afterwards. In the winter, my legs get really dry and I often have to apply moisturizer on a daily basis. After using this product for a couple of days, I noticed that I didn’t need to apply moisturizer to my legs at all. My legs felt soft, smooth, and refreshed.

Overall, this is a great product. I would suggest it to anyone. Even though the price is a bit higher than most people would pay in a local store, I think it is well worth it. You have to remember, with this product, not only does a little go a long way but it also acts like two products in one: a moisturizer and a shower gel.
