Snapware Snap 'N Stack - Review & Giveaway

Over the past few years, like many other families, I've become concerned with the plastic storage containers I use in my home.  I feel much better knowing that the items I do use are BPA free.  Luckily, a company by the name of Snapware has a wide range of products that hold up to that standard. 

Snapware started in 1994 and is "committed to providing its customers with high quality and innovative designs".  Over the past 16 years, this company has continued to grow it's product line and now offers products for food, the house (both indoors and outdoors), crafts, the holidays, and even pets!  "This companies brands include Snapware®, Snap 'N Stack®, Smart Store®, GlassLock® and Airtight Canisters and Containers."  Today, Snapware products can be found across the globe!

Review
In my home I currently use GlassLock® products.  One of the main reasons being that they are BPA free, they are easy to use in the microwave, and they seal closed well (no more worries about lids popping off).  But when I discovered that Snapware products are also BPA free,  I was interested in giving them a try.  For this review, Snapware offered to send me the Snap N' Stack Cookie & Cupcake Carrier and the Snap N' Stack Ribbon Dispenser to test out.

The Snap N' Stack Cookie & Cupcake Carrier is a two-layer plastic snap n' stack style container that is designed with cookies and cupcakes in mind!  Additionally, this container can easily be used to store and/or transport 1/4-sheet cakes.  Since this container is versatile and can be used to both store and transport goodies, it is a great solution for potlucks, picnics, parties (e.g. Christmas or New Years), school events, bake sales, and more!  This container comes with a sturdy handle and two trays that each measure 10.50" x 14.00" x 3.75".

There are a few things I really love about the Snap N' Stack Cookie & Cupcake Carrier.  First of all, I love that it is plastic yet BPA free (made from FDA food safe approved materials); that means a lighter load when transporting baked goods to parties, etc., plus it is healthier for my family. 

Secondly, I really like how easy it is to remove the different layers and pop off the lids.  I've used other locking-lid systems in the past with difficulties and luckily the Snap N' Stack item I received worked without any trouble.  It even allowed for one handed lock and unlock - perfect if you are multitasking.  Plus, you can even purchase additional layers and lids separately, which allow you to turn your 2-tier Snap 'N Stack container into a 3- 4- or 5-tier stack!

Thirdly, I absolutely love that Snap N' Stack containers come with a LIFETIME WARRANTY!  This warranty guarantees that the product will be free from original material defects and/or problems with workmanship for as long as you own the item.  Snapware will gladly replace your Snap N' Stack product for the same or comparable product at no cost.  For full details on Snapware's Snap N' Stack lifetime warranty, visit their website or contact them at 1-87-SNAPWARE for more details.

Finally, I love the fact that the Snap N' Stack Cookie & Cupcake Carrier is dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe is a real plus!  Overall, I have enjoyed the Snap N' Stack Cookie & Cupcake Carrier.  I am pleased with it's overall quality and the commitment of Snapware to it's customers.  This product sells for $27.99 on the Snapware website.

Next, I had an opportunity to try out Snapware's Snap N' Stack Ribbon Dispenser.  While this product is clearly useful at this time of year for wrapping presents and making decorations,  it is also a fantastic product for crafters!  This product has all the same Snap N' Stack features of the Cookie & Cupcake holder, except for it's special design for ribbon storage.  The purpose of this product is to help storage a variety of ribbon spools while keeping them organized and tangle-free.  To make life just a bit easier, the Snap N' Stack Ribbon Dispenser has a bottom compartment that it perfect for storing things such as scissors, glue, and more!  The ribbon dispenser has a total of two trays, which measure 9.00" x 6.00" x 2.25" and 9.00" x 6.00" x 5.50".

The things I love about the Cookie & Cupcake holder are basically the same for this product, since they are both from the Snap N' Stack line.  But, the thing I love most of this product is definitely it's unnique design.  Being a crafter (and a scrapbooker) myself, I know how challenging it can be to stay organized and thus effective in my crafting projects.  The Snapware Snap N' Stack Ribbon Dispenser is great because it allows me to keep everything organized and in one place.  This item makes crafting or Christmas gift wrapping a bit more organized which means less "hair pulling" and more time saved!

I personally think that this item would be a great addition to any household that likes to find ways to stay more organized around the holidays.  The Snap N' Stack Ribbon Dispenser would also make a great gift for the novice or experienced crafter.
