'Make It Special Gift' Review & Giveaway

If you are looking for personalized products to use in your wedding or gifts for your bridal party, Make It Special Gift is a great place to look.  If you aren't planning your own wedding, Make It Special Gift is a fun place to shop for Father's Day, Mother's Day, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and more...  Make It Special Gift sells a vast array of items that are sure to please anyone!

Make It Special Gift organizes their site so you can easily search for products based on use.  Some category examples include 'Wedding', 'Children Gifts', 'Travel Gifts', 'For Her/For Mom', and even All Personalized Gifts'.  This search method is especially beneficial if you are shopping for someone or a certain occassion but you are not quite sure what you are looking for.

In addition, to make the ordering process as easy as possible, Make It Special Gift has a number of informational pages to help you on your way.  Tips and Tricks can be found on their Personalization Information page, Process and Shipping, and Questions & Answers (FAQs).  On their website you will also find an About Us page, and a Customer Testimonials page.

Besides their product prices being reasonable, so is their shipping costs: $5.99 flat rate shipping (standard UPS shipping) for orders $64.99 and under or FREE SHIPPING for orders $65 and up!  They also have a 100% satisfaction guarentee.  They proudly stand behind their service and all the products they sell.  If you are unsatisfied with your order for any reason, contact customer service (by live chat, through the contact form, by email, or by phone) and they'll try their hardest to make the situation right and to make you a happy customer!  With demonstrations such as this, it is easy to see why Make It Special Gift is a Better Business Bureau (BBB) accredited business.

Review

Make It Special Gift offered to send me a Personalized Toasting Glass Set for review. These toasting glasses are made out of heavy glass, they measure 9-1/2" x 2-3/4", and they large enough to hold 8 oz. of 'bubbly'! This set contains two glasses - perfect for the bride and groom. Both glasses are printed with your choice of initial A - Z in your choice of color (black, gold, or silver).  Both glasses are personalized with the same initial in the same color.  These glasses are great because they are personalized, practical, and they can be used for years to come.

So, what did I think?  For the price of this toasting glass set (only $17.99), you get a great product!  Most toasting glasses you purchase in wedding stores are far more expensive and are not personalized.  I also like the simple look of these glasses - they aren't too showy and the font used is classic yet elegant.  I was also impressed with their shipping - the glasses were carefully shipped in two different boxes to ensure neither broke in transit.

I do love the glasses but I would love to see some different options added in the future!
1.) Different toasting glass sizes.  Personally, I'd prefer the glasses to be a tad bit smaller like these ones.
2.) More color options for the imprint.  This would be great for couples who wanted to match the glasses to their wedding colors.
3.) The option to put a different initial on each glass.  This would be useful if each person wanted to have the glass imprinted with their first name initial.
4.) The option to have the last name initial centered in the middle with the bride's first name initial on the left and the groom's first name initial on the right.  I love monograms and this would be great!
5.) Different font options.  Since not all weddings are the same, this would make the product appeal to a great number of people.  Also, through planning my own wedding, I've tried to incorporate my invitation fonts as much as possible.  This option would be the icing on the cake for me!
6.) Finally, I'd like to see clarification on the product page about whether the item is printed or engraved the filled with ink.  When I originally found out I was receiving this item, I thought it would be engraved and filled with ink.  The reason I thought this was due to the product wording.  Although, it may have been only my misinterpretation.

Overall, this is a great product whether you are shopping for your own wedding or for a present for someone else.  The set arrived looking just like those shown in the product picture.  This set seems to be very durable and one that can be used for years to come.  After reviewing this site and one of their products, I would love to try out some of their items as well (they have a lot of neat stuff).  Considering that I love personalized products, this is the site for me!
