Headpiece Heaven Review & Giveaway

Searching for a headpiece for your wedding, whether it be a tiara, a barrette, or a a hair comb, can be difficult.  It is especially difficult when shopping online and purchasing with only the product picture in mind.  So, when I came across Headpiece Heaven, I thought the items looked lovely but I was interested to find out how they would look up close and how they would measure up to my expectations.  Headpiece Heaven gratefully agreed to send me a sample for review, which you will read more about below.  First of all, I'd like to tell you a bit more about Headpiece Heaven's online store.

Headpiece Heaven offers a variety of headpieces for every style and budget!  Each piece is custom designed and hand-made with top quality materials to ensure an elegant high-quality piece that matches YOU!  Headpiece Heaven sells bridal headpieces, tiaras, combs, veils, crystal bouquets, jewelry, and bridal party accessories.  Prices start at $0.89 for bouquet stems and go all the way up to $850 for amazingly elegant veils.

Review

Marcia, owner of Headpiece Heaven offered to send me a "Bewitching Bow" Swarovski Rhinestone Crystal Bridal Comb. This comb is made with genuine Austrian Swarovski crystals and the comb is Silvertone Rhodium-Plated. The hair comb measures approximately 2 inches long & 3/4 of an inch wide. This item is priced at $48 for one (1) comb or $42 per comb when you buy two (2). This item can also be ordered in 14K gold-plated for a few dollars more: $52 for one (1) comb or $45.50 per comb when you buy two (2). Both styles include FREE shipping in the USA (shipping is subsidized to reflect this internationally)!  If you'd like a necklace to match, Headpiece Heaven offers a matching Bewitching Bow necklace starting at $105.

When I saw this item online, I definitely thought it was beautiful. But, when I received it, I found that the online picture didn't give it nearly enough credit. I took a few pictures myself and found the exact same thing: it is definitely more beautiful in person that any picture can show. What I find most stunning about this bridal comb is it's ability to shine. This comb shimmers and shines and it would likely be seen from across the dance floor. It is clear that the crystals used to make this comb are top quality!

As for the entire piece as a whole, I'm impressed. When the comb arrived, I noticed that it was quite a bit heavier than I originally expected it to be. The comb is generously coated with Silvertone Rhodium, which makes the piece extremely sturdy and durable. The comb portion itself is fairly sturdy as well. When placed in one's hair, it stays in place easily.

Finally, I love the size of this bridal comb. It is perfectly sized for me - not too big but not too small. It is big enough to see the wonderful workmanship but it is small enough to not take center stage...after all, it is the bride's day! :)

So...would I suggest ordering from Headpiece Heaven? Definitely! The quality of this piece is much better than I originally expected, which leads me to believe that if I ordered other items from this site the result would be the same. Your order from Headpiece Heaven will come beautifully and carefully package and includes a card that tells you more about keeping your headpiece in like-new condition.
