A couple of months ago I had the chance to review one of Kids Konserve's waste-free lunch kits (click here to read my full review). Now, thanks to the owner of Kids Konserve, you will have the chance to win a great item from Kids Konserve in celebration of Earth Day!
What can you win? One winner will receive a set of 4 Mini Stainless Steel Containers from Kids Konserve.
Information about the Mini Stainless Steel Containers:

Ideal for nuts, berries, goldfish, baby carrots, stacked small cookies, hummus, ranch, ketchup and more. Great alternative to a snack sized plastic baggies when you are on the run. Also great for taking vitamins to work or while traveling."

Our family made a commitment to be more earth friendly earlier this year. We no longer buy
ReplyDeletewater in plastic bottles, turn down the thermostat in the winter, turn down the water
heater temperature and take no longer than
5 minute showers. We also try to unplug everything
when not in use.
Thanks, Cindi

I have worked in the school system and the lunch room trash situation is scary. I like the reusable

ReplyDeleteone way we live green is to use cloth bags at the grocery store.
ReplyDeleteI'd love the Thermos. My kids love to take soup to school for lunch in the winter, but there's always a wait to use the microwave, and with only 20 minutes to wait, that makes it tough. This would be fantastic. Thanks for the giveaway and Happy Earth Day~
ReplyDeleteThe fact that made me really sad is that is takes

My family is getting "greener" all the time. We recycle and compost to keep as much out of the trash as possible. We don't buy plastic water bottles, but everyone now has a reusable water bottle instead. I take my own bags to the grocery store. I try to unplug everything I'm not using. We support wind farm electricity. My kids and husband walk or bike to school and work.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, no one near me sells these products, but Natural Territory in Scottsdale is very close to my sister's home.
ReplyDeleteHere's a fun fact - If we replaced just one out of every five paper greeting cards we buy with a paperless alternative, we could save 130 million pounds of wood, 183 million gallons of water, and 39 million pounds of greenhouse gas emissions.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win the stainless steel thermos too. Or a water bottle. All the products look great.
