With blogging and school being my two major activities, I am often on the computer for hours at a time. Because of this, I usually end up with an extremely cold hand. Sometimes I even have to take a break just to give my hand a chance to warm up. Finally, I found the solution to my problem. It is called the WarmMe® Warm Mouse. This innovative mouse is just like a regular mouse except with the added function of warming.
This mouse is great if you work in a cold environment, have carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, Reynaud’s, DeQuervain’s, Tendonitis, RSI/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome or even poor circulation!
“WarmMe® WARM MOUSE is ergonomically designed to fit in your hand comfortably, minimizing unnecessary pressure on the wrist and forearm muscles. This insures that your wrist is in a neutral position during use. You can move freely while delivering therapeutic heat to relax tight hand and wrist muscles.

WarmMe® WARM MOUSE improves circulation in your hand, fingers, thumb, and fingertips. As natural infrared rays are gently emitted, reflected and refracted in the soft tissues of your fingers and hands, cellular functioning is enhanced. This amazing process can help to reverse damage done from overworked joints. Infrared rays can actually help to produce better enzymes within the cells of the muscle.”

I was so excited when I found out I would be reviewing the WarmMe® Warm Mouse and I was even more excited when the mailman delivered it! The first thing I loved about this mouse was how easy it was to set up. Because this mouse uses a standard USB connection, it can easily connect to any PC, Mac or laptop computer. In addition, I thought it was great because there was no additional software needed to operate it.
A few minutes after plugging in my mouse and turning it on, I was enjoying the warmth of this mouse! I was pleasantly surprised by how much heat this device actually gives off and how quickly it heats up. This mouse is heated to a perfect 104°F. I also love that when my hand is warmed up or I do not feel like using the warming function at the time, that with the press of a button I can easily turn it off (without unplugging it)!
Another aspect of this mouse that is wonderful is the ergonomic design. After using this mouse instead of my old one, I find that my hand doesn’t get sore nearly as often. Finally, this mouse comes with the standard 2-button, 3 function design. I can easily click right, left or scroll.
Overall, I absolutely love this mouse. There isn’t one thing I’d change. I think it is a great solution for anyone that works on the computer for an extended period of time or for anyone who has one of the medical conditions I mentioned above. In addition, for the added features of this mouse, I think this mouse is superbly priced.

ReplyDeleteDoes number one ever win? I almost decided to come back tomorrow but didn´t want to forget. I´d like to win this mouse for my mom. She lives in Chile and being practically at the bottom of the globe it´s pretty cold down there with the penguins in the winter. She would LOVE the warm up feature and the special shape as she has that wrist problem that makes extended computer use painful. I know this would help. Thanks for the chance to try it.

This will be great for me because I do most of my blogging when the kids are gone to bed for the night. In a effort to save money I turn the heat down when everyone is asleep. Sometimes my fingers get a little cold but I don't want to stop blogging.

Oh my gosh, what an awesome idea!!! Why could I benefit from it? First of all, I'd use it for me and 2nd, this is so funny because just last night I was telling my husband (after 2 hours of point and clicking) why my hand was like ICE. Someone knew mine poor, ittle problem!! :) What a neat invention!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! Yes, I have the conditions you mentioned. The Rheumatoid arthritis, and scarring from carpal tunnel surgery which is almost worse than the carpal tunnel was. In the mornings I can't bend my fingers and this added warmth will be like icing on the cake! I really want to try it. I would say I will keep my fingers crossed but that would be impossible!
ReplyDeletemoonshadow43(at)gmail(dot)com
I'm another person who's often up on the computer late at night when the heat's on low. Plus, I have mild arthritis-like-problems that means I get cramps in my hands when they get cold. So much fun. :/

ReplyDeleteFor my son and myself. Our place is kind of cool in the evenings and our hands feel like they

We don't keep it too warm inside because of
the cost of heating.
A heated mouse??
WOW,
Love to win that.
Hi, I have read good things about this warm mouse!
ReplyDeleteI have had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands. The time I spend on my computer is way too much.
I have inherited osteo-arthritis from my mom and with my age, the fingers and such are starting to feel some pain. I would appreciate being entered in your delightful drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

ReplyDeletefertawert AT yahoo DOT com
Wow, I really needed this a few days ago! I was actually wearing a glove just on my right hand because it was so freezing cold. However, if I won I'd probably give it to my Mom. She works on the computer all day and I've been worried about her getting carpel tunnel. I think the feature she'd love is that it puts her hand in a neutral position during use and releases unnecessary pressure. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI have psoriatic arthritis in my wrists and hands and by the end of the day I'm in so much pain that I want to immerse my hands in a bowl of warmth and comfort!
ReplyDeleteThis mouse sounds like it may do that for me on an ongoing basis throughout the day!

ReplyDeletewell, I have seen how great it is, and yes to help with the aches and pains of being an old fart- this would help with the wrist and the palm pain and if the heat goes off again I can rub it on face and hands to prevent frostbite- ok maybe not but a thought, but it does look amaing and my husband said he wants it if I win and I told him its gonna be chained to me! mrs.mommyyatgmaildotcom

This sounds like it's just what the doctor ordered, my hands get so cold that my nails sometimes turn purple, and I can sometimes see my breath like if I were outside. We can't have heaters (HR has actually confiscated other co-workers heaters)but it never gets warm enough here, I would really love this mouse. I am leaving the warmmouse.com website open on my computer at work. I checked out the site and love the savings! SAVE! Buy 2 Mice! One for yourself and one for someone you care about...
ReplyDelete$24.95 each isn't that cool? And I also love, love, love that they take Paypal as a form of payment!
This is a fantastic item for people who have cold hands constantly. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteI spend alot of time on the computer and this mouse would surely comfort my busy hand
ReplyDeleteI have terrible circulation and my hand always freezes when I'm working for long periods of time at the computer. Also my office is the coldest room in the house, being the farthest from the fireplace! This would be just the thing!

I love this idea! I never knew such a product existed until I read about it in your blog. My hands are always so cold from spending 8-10 hours a day behind a computer and my hands are always freezing! I am going to have to convince my IT guy at work to buy me one, and it would be great to win one to use at home!
ReplyDeleteI have Multiple Sclerosis. This mouse would make my time on the computer much more comfortable.
ReplyDeletewant to win this I could so use it on cold days
ReplyDeleteSomeone should have invented this a decade ago! My hands are perpetually cold-- winter and summer-- and this would increase my comfort in using my computer exponentially. The ergonomic design sounds great, too, as I find the heel of my hand sometimes goes to sleep in long computer sessions.
ReplyDeleteI'd definitely benefit in the circulation category...my hands are always cold due to poor circulation...so this would be wonderful!

I have circulation problems and this would help with that.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this mouse for my father.. He recently had a stroke.. and his right side just doesn't quite work the same.. He really loves to work on his computer.. and I know he has a hard time.. typing and controlling the mouse.. I think this mouse would be so much better then the one he uses.. would warm his hand.. perhaps stimulate better movement.. I don't know but its worth a try :) Thanks.

I'm on the computer day & night. And often my mouse hand aches. I'd love to see how the infrared works.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway >^..^<
Working on a computer all day puts a terrible strain on my wrist. Not only that, but I'm in an office on the outside wall of a really old brick court building with three windows that overlook a parking lot... this means cold, cold, COLD drafts from the windows and no working baseboard heaters. Although we are allowed to have REALLY small heaters for the floor, they don't do much for your hands or upper body. The room gets so cold in the winter that we store 12-packs of soda on the floor (because we don't have access to a fridge) and they actually stay COLDER than the ones in the fridge. BRRRRR!

ReplyDeleteI would benefit from winning this mouse because I am battling MS and have nerve damage. I am always dealing with inflamed joints. It is very painful to type but being online is my way of communication at this point in my life.

ReplyDeleteI have carpel tunnel and just maybe this would help!
ReplyDeleteI would give this to my dad. He spends all day on the computer with his business and his office is so cold you lose feeling in your toes. They heat their house with a kerosene heater that sits in the middle of their living room, so his office gets no heat. He's in his 60's so I think this would help him alot.
ReplyDeletei think this would be great for me, I have renauld's syndrome and am on the computer alot for work...my finger tips get extremely (white) cold all day, so an ergonomic mouse might be helpful!
ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law has Raynaud's Disease. Whenever she gets cold, blood leaves her extremities. She suffers quite a bit in the winter, so this would really help. She spends a lot of time on her laptop.
ReplyDeleteI have carpel tunnels and it would at least provide me with constant heat to my aching joints

ReplyDeleteI would love this my hands get very cold and sometimes cramp up. I believe this would fix those problems.
ReplyDeleteYou can turn down the heat and bundle up to stay warm but that one hand moving the mouse is always going to be cold. Wear a glove? No, I'd rather get a Warm Mouse.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have this warm mouse. My hands always freeze, and I currently put them under my laptop next to the battery to warm them up. If I had this mouse I wouldn't have to lift my laptop up to reach the battery and I wouldn't have to shock my boyfriend when I touch his face with my frozen fingers.
