Honey Dipp Review & Giveaway!

Honey Dipp is a fabulous company that creates a unique line of bath and beauty products that are derived from several Caribbean ingredients. Honey Dipp was found by Dionne McKay and Mickella Sealey. The idea of Honey Dipp was created when the two friends were looking through popular beauty magazines, which started the conversation of the natural bath and beauty products they used as children. The natural beauty products they used as children were made by their mothers and grandmothers and created to help moisturize the skin and sooth aches and pains (mainly with their bath salts). Dionne and Mickelle quickly decided that that too could come up with unique natural products and share them with the world. This lead to the development of their line of natural bath and beauty products, which are all influenced by their Caribbean background. Honey Dipp’s bath and beauty products feature key ingredients such as Papaya, Citrus, Sugar Cane, Aloe, Coconut, and Palm Oil.

Review
I had the opportunity to try a few different products from Honey Dipp. All of them were fabulous in their own ways but one of my personal favorites was the Honey Bun in Shea Mango. The honey bun is great because it features two different products in one. The honey bun contains a natural sea-sponge, which is embedded in glycerin soap. The sponge is meant to exfoliate while the glycerin soap helps to moisturize your skin.

Did you know? Glycerin is “a natural humectant derived from palm kernel oil, excellent for smoothing and moisturizing the skin, helps to prevent moisture loss and skin dehydration.”

When I used the honey bun, I experimented with it both on my body and my face. I found that it worked great on my body but my face was a bit too sensitive for it. Since my face gets extremely dry in the winter, this might explain why it worked better on the rest of my body. I really enjoyed using the honey bun because of it’s exfoliating effects. I found that this helped smooth my skin, especially on my legs.

My favorite part of this soap is that it is all natural (even the sponge)! I love using a product that can naturally help my skin while reducing it’s effect on the environment. After using several different products from their line, I have to say that the smell of these products is absolutely fabulous!
