Diane, owner of The Giving Essence, offered to tell me a bit about her store:
“The Giving Essence opened for business just a few short months ago, and there are many changes and new products in the works. We're working on sprucing up the site, adding new balms, sprays, and more. I started the store because I'd been making many of these products for my family for years. The room sprays are all I've used for quite sometime, as a way of freshening my home without all those chemicals. I've never liked taking headache medicines, etc. so that's where the Peppermint Stick came in. And I have a wonderful balm I've been making for a few years now that I'll be excited to share soon too!”
For more information on all natural, chemical free living with a bit of herbal wisdom, be sure to check out Diane’s blog, dkMommy Spot. dkMommy Spot offers wonderful articles, in addition to giveaways for great eco-friendly prizes on a regular basis!
Review
When Diane contacted me about doing a giveaway, I was really excited that I was going to have a chance to try something from her new store (I have been eyeing it up for awhile). Diane offered

Here is what The Giving Essence says about the Peppermint Stick:
“Headache got you down? Give stress, tensions and nasty headaches the heave-ho with our Peppermint Stick Headache & Stress Eraser. All-natural high quality essential oil of peppermint is used in traditional folk medicine and aromatherapy as a stress, headache, and depression reliever. Our pretty little roll-on bottle makes it easy to take the relief with you wherever you go. Rub it on your temples, forehead, or neck for quick relief. And the scent? Heavenly. The Giving Essence has spent considerable time choosing just the right oil. You’ll never want to be without your Peppermint Stick again!”
I happened to receive my Peppermint Stick at the perfect time…I was in the middle of a headache. I hadn’t taken any medication so I immediately gave it a try. When I took the lid of the Peppermint Stick I immediately noticed it’s fabulous smell. I joke to my boyfriend that it makes me smell like a candy cane (which I absolutely love by the way). The roll-on applicator tube makes this product extremely easy to apply and small enough to carry around with you in your purse, backpack, diaper bag, car, etc. After I applied the Peppermint Stick to my temples and the back of my neck, I started to feel relief of my headache within 5 minutes! I was extremely impressed with how fast it worked. A couple days later, I had another headache and tried the Peppermint Stick again…with the same results. I am so happy I have been able to find a product that is natural, reasonably priced and works just as well, if not better than over-the-counter (OTC) medication.
Overall, I am completely in love with this new product; it is something that I would suggest to anyone. I will definitely be talking to some of my friends and family about this nifty product. Try it yourself! You won’t be disappointed!
What can you win? One winner will receive a Peppermint Stick Headache & Stress Eraser from The Giving Essence.
