When I opened the box, I found the filtration system, tubing for the system and pamphlets. I also noticed that there were a couple of extra pieces. As I read the information, I found out these additional pieces were faucet adapters that Aquasana includes with all their systems to ensure that they will fit almost any faucet you own. I think this is great for people who need it. The last thing you want is to have to run to the store and buy extra parts. Luckily, my faucet is standard and I was able to set it up without using any of the adapters.

When I received the system, I was a bit concerned about installing it myself (I know absolutely nothing about plumbing). Luckily, this system came with several pamphlets of easy to read and easy to follow instructions. From start to finish, the installation process took no longer than 15 minutes. I was impressed with how easy it was to put together. After running the water for a couple of minutes, I had fresh, healthy, excellent tasting and chemical/contaminant free water.

One thing I really liked is that with the order of their filtration system, you receive a glass decanter free (for a limited time only). I love that I can easily fill up the decanter, store it in the fridge, and have cold water any time I like. In addition, I think using a decanter for my water is a great idea because it means there is less wasted water (I don’t have to run the water until it gets cold).
