First Juice Review!

Recently, I joined a team of reviewers on a great online community called Mom Fuse. Shortly after joining, they asked if I would be willing to review a new product called ‘First Juice’. I had never heard of it before so I was intrigued and went to check out their website. First Juice is a brand new product made especially for babies and toddlers. First Juice explains that their product is for “young, developing taste buds.” First Juice is 100% organic and is made of a combination of fruits and vegetables. This juice has 50% less sugar, which is great for exposing your children to new foods/beverages without having to be concerned about the amount of sugar in the product. Fruit Juice is great for helping your children get a head start on healthy eating habits.

As a childcare provider, I am concerned with the amount of sugar children consume these days. I do allow the children I look after to consume juice, however, I always make to dilute it with water. First Juice is a great option because I no longer have to worry about diluting the juice. I have confidence that it has less sugar and is a healthier choice. Not only does First Juice have less sugar but also it has added vitamins A, C & D and calcium to ensure your child is getting the nutrients they need to thrive! These juices are made from concentrate and are processed with purified water.

First Juice comes in an easy to grasp bottle, perfectly sized for little hands. These bottles are made especially to be used as a sippy cup. The great thing about these is that you can even re-use them. All you have to do is wash them out well, rinse, dry and reuse. Another wonderful thing about these bottles is that they are made from Bisphenol-A (BPA) and Phthalate free plastic.

I had a chance to try two different flavors of First Juice: Apple + Carrot and Banana + Carrot. I tried them out myself and I could immediately tell that these would be perfect for little taste buds. They have a very mild flavor and are not too sweet. Even though they have added carrot juice, you cannot even taste it. It just tastes like banana or apple. What a perfect way to get a bit more vegetables into your child’s diet. Overall, I liked First Juice and I loved the idea behind it! I think it is a great alternative to traditional sugar packed juices.
