Macaroni and Glue is a fun Etsy shop that offers “custom invitations, unique and special holiday cards, handcrafted greeting cards, and vintage-inspired blank note sets ~ just simple, stylish handmade stationery.” Macaroni and Glue has something for just about everyone: Moms and Dads, Grads and Babies. Not only does she offer something for almost everyone but Kelly (owner of Macaroni and Glue) also offers something for almost every occasion: thank you, birthday, just because, anniversaries, holidays, invitations, and even birth announcements.Review

I had the opportunity to evaluate a number of holiday themed cards from Macaroni and Glue. I received two different types of cards from Kelly: some that have images printed on bright white recycled Beckett Cambric linen cardstock and some that have patterned paper layered over bright white recycled linen cardstock. All cards sold by Macaroni and Glue are accompanied by 70 lb. square-flap matching envelopes. Most of the cards come with colored envelopes, although, you are able to request white envelopes if you would prefer. I especially loved the red cards that came with a few of the holiday cards. They are filled with gorgeous sparkles and are completely delightful. Overall, I was very impressed with the envelopes that are included with the cards. I find that most envelopes that you receive in boxed sets at the store are not nearly as good quality.
My favorite cards were the ones that have the images printed on the linen cardstock. I love them because they look so professional, clean, and crisp. I only had one issue with a card that I received: The Night Before Christmas. According to the write up in the etsy store, this card is supposed to come with a message inside that says, "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year"; however, the card I received did not have a message at all. Kelly does state that you are able to request your own message at no extra cost so I am wondering if she just kept it blank for review purposes. The other cards I had a chance to review were the ones that have patterned paper laid over linen cardstock. I thought these were
very cute. Both that I received came with beautiful patterned paper. The reason these were not my favorite were just due to a few cosmetic blemishes. I found that some of the papers were angled or not lined up in some areas. On one of the cards, glue/tape was showing on one corner where the printed paper had been attached to the cardstock. Even though these are flaws, flaws are generally a natural part of most cards that are handmade. I personally have experience making cards by hand and I know it is a difficult process and many times, they do not come out perfect. In many people’s eyes, that is the joy of handmade items.Macaroni and Glue and makes darling stationary that is unique and special. I believe that anyone would be delighted to receive one of her handmade cards.

What can you win? One winner will receive a boxed set of "Night Before Christmas" cards from Macaroni and Glue (picture shown below).
