Windy Hill Designs Review & Giveaway!

One day, while searching around Etsy, I came across the cutest little shop called ‘Windy Hill Designs’. I just feel in love with it. This shop specializes in making a wide range of tote bags, checkbook covers, key fobs, and mini wallets. Not only does she create these wonderful items by hand, but she also offers many of her items in matching patterns! She has many different fabric options to choose from and I think there really is something for everyone. In addition, she is constantly adding new and beautiful fabric options! The owner of Windy Hill Designs sent me a matching key fob and wallet so that I could test them out and report back to all of you on what I thought. First of all, let me say, I was very impressed by the quality of workmanship that went into making both the key fob and the wallet. I tested the seams on both items and they were incredibly sturdy. Both items are sure to last a long time. Now I will get into specifics about what I thought individually about each piece.

First, I will talk a bit about the wallet. When I first opened the package and found the wallet, I immediately loved the fabrics chosen for this piece. Windy Hill Designs did an excellent job of coordinating the inside and outside fabrics. On the inside of the wallet, the seams are done with a serger sewing machine to give it a professional and finished look. In terms of size, for me, I think this is the perfect for when I am making a quick run to the store and don’t want to take my entire wallet or purse with me. The size of this wallet makes it so easy to just slip it into my pocket and go. This wallet measures 5.5" x 3.25” and it is the perfect size to slip a debit card, a credit card, some change, and a few bills into.

Next, I will talk about the key fob. I love the idea of this because too many times I have dropped my keys or put them down somewhere and completely forgot about them. The key fob can prevent this! What I really like about the key fob is that it is made from 100% heavy-duty cotton webbing, which makes it very sturdy. I also like that it comes with a large key ring, which makes it easy to attach to my keys. Another feature that is unique to the key fobs that Windy Hill Designs sells is that they are bigger that most other key fobs sold on Etsy. This is done to ensure that they can slide on and off your wrist easily. However, since my hands and wrists are quite small, I found the key fob to actually be a bit too big. For me, if it were about 1 inch smaller, it would be perfect! Although, for most other people, I’m sure this size would probably work quite well. The key fob measures 5.5" x 1.25". Below is a video showing how easy it is to slip the key fob on and off your wrist.
